GABRIEL P. BULTINCK

Gabriel P. Bultinck, beloved husband of Jean Sommers and the late Dolores Bultinck. Loving father of Gabriel (Sandie), John (Gretchen), and Paul (Betty Ann). Cherished grandfather of nineteen. Proud great-grandfather of fifteen. Stepfather of Ken (Karen), Wayne (Genalyn), Scott (Tammy), and Donna (Jorge). Dear brother of Earl Bultinck and Grace Nehnevaj and brother-in-law of John (Bernie) Eshoo. Uncle to many. Gabriel served in the U.S. Navy during WWII in the Pacific Theater, notably in the battle of Guam. He went on to spend eleven years in the reserves. Gabriel was the co-founder of the Streamwood Little League teams, police magistrate of Streamwood from 1959-1963, trustee of the volunteer Streamwood fire department, president of I.A.M. Local union, and quality assurance manager at Honeywell Inc. before retiring in 1986. Gabriel had many interests including fishing, traveling, bowling, dancing, and spending time at the casino. He will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society or Honor Flight Chicago (of which Gabriel was a recipient) are appreciated. Funeral Friday, Oct. 21st, 9:30 AM from the funeral home for 10 AM Mass at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 455 N. Benton St., Palatine, IL 60067. Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
