Gabriel had a long and fulfilling career as a landscaper, contributing many years to Ortiz Landscaping Company. His work was not just a job for him; it was a testament to his passion for nurturing beauty in the natural world. Gabriel took great pride in his ability to transform yards, skillfully trimming roses and plants, leaving a lasting impact on the landscapes he touched.
His personality shone brightly through his friendly demeanor and genuine love for others. Known for his infectious laughter and perpetual smile, Gabriel had an extraordinary capacity for kindness, always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. He embodied compassion and celebrated life with a heart full of love for all creatures, great and small.
Gabriel cherished the simple joys of life, finding happiness in music and dancing, as well as spending quality time with his beloved family. He built a small house on their land at Three Points, where countless memories were made. Long walks with his wife, Vivian Ruiz Garcia, picking flowers for her, and creating his own beef jerky were just some of the delightful moments Gabriel savored. He also reveled in the company of his little farm of animals, nurturing them with the same affection he showed to his family.
Gabriel's interests were as broad as his heart. He enjoyed playing horseshoes, engaging in spirited games of pool and cards, and relished the adventures of hunting and camping. These hobbies brought him joy and were a source of connection with loved ones.
He leaves behind a loving family that includes his beloved wife, Vivian Ruiz Garcia; his sons, Pedro Garcia Guillen, Juan Gabriel Garcia Subia, Rigoberto Garcia Subia, Samuel Ruiz Salazar, Gabriel Ruiz Salazar, Jesus Ruiz Salazar, and Hector Ruiz Salazar; his daughters, Aurora Garcia Guillen, Norma Garcia Guillen, and Clara Garcia Guillen; as well as 26 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
