Gabriel Johnson Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 4, 2011.
LODI - Gabriel David Johnson was a loving, generous, adventurous young man whose brief life was cut short by a tragic fall on Monday, July 4, 2011. Be it playing basketball, working, loving his family, debating any given subject, or partying with friends, Gabe gave 200%. Being a good Dad to his sons Blaze and Pierce was his highest priority. Gabe had worked at the Bruce Company for many years and more recently at Stagecoach Plumbing. We are grateful for the many friends and mentors who helped Gabe throughout his life and contributed their influence in shaping him into the marvelous person he was. Gabe is leaving behind his beloved sons, Blaze and Pierce; loving partner and mother of the boys, Nichole Short; his parents, Keith and dorothea Johnson; his brother and best friend, Justin and his wife Katie; niece, Kendall; paternal grandmother, Marie Johnson; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Gabe is joining his beloved sister, Amy Jorene; friends, John Stormer and Nathan Kelley; and his grandparents, George and Jorene Grob and Bud Johnson. A Celebration of Gabe's Life will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, July 8, 2011 at the LODI UNITED METHODIST CHURCH with the Rev. Scott Walters officiating. Visitation will be held from 3:00p.m. until the service at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials for the benefit of Blaze and Pierce would be appreciated. Gabe, you lived large, you had a laugh that made everyone turn around and smile. You were the sunshine in everyone's life and we are going to miss you so much!!
