Gabriel "Gaby" Mendez, passed away on October 8, 2024, in Evanston, Wyoming, at the age of 45. Born on February 1, 1979, in El Paso, Texas, Gabriel embodied both pride and passion throughout his life, particularly cherishing his roles as a father, uncle, brother, and son.
Gabriel’s career was marked by dedication and compassion. He spent several years contributing at MRSI as a CNA Supervisor and at the Wyoming State Hospital, where his diligence and commitment to care positively impacted many lives.
Gaby had a vibrant personality and great sense of style, always ensuring that he was dressed in the latest fashion and looking at point. He had a love for sports, particularly NASCAR, basketball, and the Dallas Cowboys.
Gaby is survived by his sons, Domenique (Abryella) Mendez and Jordan Mendez, his mother, Rosa Maria Mendez, and his siblings: Nacho (Rachel) Mendez, Mike (Rosa) Mendez, and Mary (Tony) Gutierrez. He is predeceased by his father, Miguel Mendez, and his brother, Pablo Mendez.
A viewing will take place on October 14, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Crandall Funeral Home, 800 Uinta St, Evanston, Wyoming 82930. At 6:00 that evening, funeral services will be held.
