Gabriele O'Brien Obituary
Gabriele (Firmbach) O’Brien, 60, of Fitzwilliam, NH and Worcester, passed away on Friday, June 20, 2025. She was predeceased by her husband Robert J. O’Brien, Jr., on May 10, 2025.
Gabriele is survived by three daughters, Cassandra DiGiulio and her husband Michael of Worcester, Heidi O’Brien of Worcester, and n Megan O’Brien of Fitzwilliam; a brother, Peter Firmbach; a sister, Petra Pluta, both in Florida; ten grandchildren, Bobbie Lee Bottom and her fiancé Dylan Fuller, Lorenzo DiGiulio, Angelo DiGiulio, Gianna Degalis, Ava DiGiulio, Sophia Degalis, Naomi Howard, Jesse Howard, Jr., Francis “Frankie” Howard, and Max Howard; a great granddaughter, Brielle Fuller; her loving in laws, Violet Hurtubise and her husband Robert of Troy, NH; her God Father, Klaus Houslek of Florida; nieces and nephews. She was born in Stuttgart, Germany, daughter of the late, Heini and Roswitha (Steiner) Firmbach. She grew up in Gilbertville and later moved to Worcester and Fitzwilliam, NH.
She loved the beach, making crafts and being a mother and grandmother, family was everything.
Calling Hours will be on Monday, June 30, from 4 pm to 7pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester.
