Gail Ann Corbin

Funeral services for Gail Ann Corbin, 70, of Clarence, LA will be held on Friday, September 13, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches with Rev. Bill Hudson officiating. A burial will follow in Memory Lawn cemetery in Natchitoches, LA. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Gail was born on May 14, 1954, in Fort Smith, AR to her parents James Alfred West and Joan Hunter. She passed from this life on Saturday, September 7, 2024, in Natchitoches, LA with her loving husband by her side. She is preceded in death by her parents, two sons Jason and Phillip Corbin, and five of her siblings Sonya West Lynn, Rammy Romena, Cheryl Perry, Jerry West, and Ronnie West.

Gail took care of others all her life. She was a loving and caring sister, wife, mother, and grandmother, that was undeniable. Gail was known to be selfless in her own wants, just to make sure that everyone else in her life found happiness. Gail’s idea of a good time was sewing, crocheting, making arts and crafts, but most of all spending time with her family, friends, and her loyal pup, Tanner.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 51 years Leonard Corbin (Charlie) of Clarence, LA; children Leonard W. Corbin III (Kelly) of Baton Rouge, LA and Libby Corbin Stoker (Eric) of Natchitoches, LA; siblings: Danita Lamb of Ballwin MO., Robert Romena of Clearwater FL., Richard Romena of Fort Smith, AR, Joanie Hayes of the Villages FL., Janet Delmas of the Villages FL., and Harry West of Ballwin MO; nine grandchildren: Jessica Corbin, Dylan Davis, Savannah Hood, Wyatt Corbin, Reagan Bolton, Bayli Stoker, Cameron Valigura, Madison Corbin, and Jacob Corbin; five great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Dylan Davis, Austin Corbin, Wyatt Corbin, Peyton Bolton, BJ Hood, and Cameron Churchman. Honorary pallbearers Cameron Valigura, Jacob Corbin, and Waylen Corbin.
