Mrs. Gail Eberhart, age 79 of Hartwell, passed away peacefully at Anmed Medical Center on October 19, 2023.
She was born on November 12, 1943 in Guyton, GA to the late Mr. Horace Eberhart and Mrs. Ollie Jean Ayers Eberhart. She was a member of Rock Branch Baptist Church and attended Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was a child care provider for many years. She loved God, her family, her children, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Gail was a loving person and had many friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband Joe Ward, her parents, her son Tracy Ward, and her sister Linda Eberhart.
Left to cherish her memories are her children; Teresa (Parker) Herring, Tami Scoggins (Todd Moorhead), Lisa (Michael) McGarity and Tammy Ward, her grandchildren; Adam (Kayla) Herring, Matt (Jessica) Herring, Josh (Jenny) Whitfield, Jill (Mycal) Bailey, Jason Whitfield, Joy Whitfield, Allison (Bradford) McGarity, Drew Williams, and Jenna Ward, her great-grandchildren; Marley Whitfield, Ethan Bailey, Eli Bailey, Devin Blakely, Maelee Herring, Kingston Pruitt, Landers Herring, and Lake Herring, and her sister; Sandra Eberhart of Greenville SC.
Funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 22, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors with Reverend Don Nestor officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-1:45 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Rock Branch Baptist Church cemetery in Elberton. At other times the families will be at their respective homes. Flowers for service are welcome.
