Gail (Pawlak) French, age 76, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at Life Care Center of W. Bridgewater. She was the daughter of the late John Pawlak, Jr. and Helen (Roberts) Pawlak.

Gail was born in Taunton, MA on September 11, 1949 and was a graduate of Foxborough High School, Class of 1967. She was a graduate of the Chandler Secretarial School in Boston. She was a long-time member of the Union Church in South Foxborough where she was a member of the Bible Study Committee. She enjoyed traveling to many quilt shows, enjoyed reading romance novels, solving jig saw puzzles and was a music lover.

Beloved mother of Stephen Cook and his wife Kristen of Raynham. Loving sister of John Pawlak, III and his wife Kristie of Foxborough and the late Samuel Pawlak and his late wife Joan Lee of Fitchburg.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Union Church of South Foxborough, 384 South Street, Foxborough on Thursday January 29th at 11am. A private interment will be held at the Titicut Parish Cemetery in Middleboro at a later date.

In lieu of flowers donations in Gail's memory may be made to the Union Church of South Foxborough Deacon Fund.

I am so sorry to hear passed on. We had great times when we lived in Florida. She introduced me to my first husband and was a bridesmaid in my wedding. I moved away and lost touch until many years later I ran into her. She was a very sweet woman and she will be greatly missed.
