Gail Hoodak-Chaffee Obituary
Age 71, passed away on April 28, 2025 from an extended illness. She was born in Elmira, New York daughter of the late Stephen Hoodak Sr. and Mary (Roman) Hoodak.
Gail was predeceased by her husband, Howard Chaffee and brothers and sister, LaVerne Hoodak, Sandra Durizch, and Stephen Hoodak Jr.
Gail is survived by her daughters, Danielle Hoodak and Stasha Hoodak-Murray; grandchildren Christopher Hoodak, Timothy Davis Jr., Isis Sinclaire, and Jared Murray; great-granddaughter Braylynn; brother & sister-in-law, Daniel and Martha (Cardinale) Hoodak; sister & brother-in-law, Vicki (Hoodak) and John Cardinale and several nieces and nephews.
Gail attended EFA high school. She retired from having her own daycare. She enjoyed going to the casino and watching her NASCAR races. Her joy in life was her grandkids and great granddaughter. She enjoyed family gatherings in the summer.
At Gail's request, there will be no services.

Dear Danny and Vicki, Danielle &Stasha, I am so sorry to hear of Gail´s passing. Reading about another passing on this website, I stumbled upon the obituary for Gail. I am saddened by this news. We were so very close in our younger years, and it´s so hard to believe she´s gone. My fondest memories were when we used to play school on your front porch.....or when we got caught smoking (thank you Vicki), by your Aunt Polly. I´m glad Gail is no longer suffering, but it still hurts to know she has passed. I will always cherish the memories of our younger years, and forever remember her beautiful smile. Rest in peace my beautiful friend.
