Gail Jackson Obituary
Mrs. Jackson was a wonderful mother, grandmother and mother-in-law. She worked in the cafeteria in many of the Vernon Parish Schools. She was a wonderful cook. Most of all she was a wonderful Christian Lady.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Lillie Duncan Andrews; husband, Alta Ray Jackson; brothers, Johnny Andrews, Charles Andrews, Henry Andrews, Sam Andrews, and Chesley Andrews; sisters, Maude Deggs, Pauline Sharp, Annie Nelson and Betty McCoy.
She is survived by her son, Wesley Jackson (Sherry); daughter, Susie Patterson (Mike); grandchildren, Tammy Mushinski (James), Melissa Jernigan, Brad Patterson(Sarah), Krista Henry (Delane); great grandchildren, Annalisa Bailey, Izabella Henry, Treyton Harper, Jackson Patterson, and Adalyn Jernigan.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at 12:00 P.M. Good Hope Baptist Church in Anacoco with Bro. Keith Dowden and Bro. Tinker Hillman officiating. Burial will follow in the Good Hope Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 from 11:00 A.M. until time of the service at the church.
The family would like to thank The Woodlands Health Care Center for all their wonderful help.

I am greatful for taking care of her at the Woodlands she was a wonderful lady going to miss her wished id known about the funeral I would have loved to come say good bye to her ty for letting us get to know her R.I.P. Ms Gail till I see you again one day ty Maria Emerick
