Gail Joslin Obituary
After graduating from high school, Gail embarked on a career that would see her take on various roles, including a valued position as a reservationist for United Airlines.
In her personal life, Gail was a beacon of light for her family. She was the loving mother of Ryan (Marina) Joslin of Brown County and Tiffany (Joseph) Verbeck of Ellicott City, Maryland. Her children remember her as a guiding force, full of encouragement and laughter. Gail's legacy continues through her grandchildren, Jack, Ella, and Heidi Joslin, and Charlotte Verbeck, who will forever cherish their memories of her storytelling and the lessons she taught them.
Gail's sister, Sandra (Patrick) Murphy of Camarillo, California will fondly recall the countless hours they spent sharing stories and dreams. Gail was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Robbin Pittock, with whom she now rests in peace.
An avid bingo player, she was known for her strategic play and the camaraderie she shared with fellow enthusiasts. Gail's love for sweepstaking was legendary, often turning a simple mailed submission into an exciting win. An ardent reader, she could often be found with a book in hand, lost in the pages of a captivating story. Gail's intelligence and quick wit were on full display during her favorite television show, Jeopardy, where she would celebrate everyone's correct answers and laugh along with wrong ones.
Family and friends may gather for visitation from 5-7 p.m. Friday, January 2, 2026, at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Jonathan Moore Pike. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. In memory of Gail, memorial contributions may be made to Brown County's Shop with a Cop.
Condolences and special memories may be shared with the Joslin family and a video tribute may be viewed at barkesweaverglick.com.
