"They Whispered to Her You Cannot Withstand The Storm... I Am STORM She Whispered Back."

Gail L. Kampfer passed away peacefully on June 25, 2025 after enduring a long and tough fight against cancer.

She is survived by her loving and supportive family who each helped her weather this long storm. She spent the last year and half with her only son, Jonathan, daughter in law, Mary, and grandsons John Paul and Teddy. Steve, her ex-husband, was devoted and faithful to Gail until the very end. Her Cherished brothers, Gary & Greg Blake, were a constant support in her life. Dear Sister-in-law, Lisa, will always be remembered as her 'go to on-call nurse'. Without her, Gail would never have had the care and treatment carried out throughout this battle. Gail was blessed with beautiful nieces, Alexandria and Isabella, and wonderful cousins and friends, new and old, who helped her tremendously at different points in her life. Her cousin, Anita, and friend, Patty, were by her side during her ups and downs that she endured in Florida. We will always be grateful that Gail was cared for when we were miles away. Iris Picone & Rose Baldi, neighbors, turned family, have been wonderful friends to Gail for over 28 years. Jon and Mary will always be grateful to each and every person in Gail's life.

Her life will be celebrated on Monday, June 30th from 4-8 PM at the Charles G. Schmitt Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, July 1st at 9:30 AM, St. William the Abbot RC Church. In lieu of flowers...treat yourself to some flowers in Gail's loving memory. Love yourself a little more tenderly, do what makes you happy and be grateful for the little things in life.
