Gail Diane Bounds Loveday, aged 83, passed away September 27, 2025, in Winter Haven, FL. Born on March 25, 1942 to Viva Viola and Charlie Bounds, Gail devoted her life to her family as a loving mother and wife. Gail is survived by her husband of 63 years, Hugh Loveday, and their children: Scott Loveday (Amy), Susan Newton (Jimmy), Sara Collins, and Steven Loveday (Laura). She was a cherished grandmother to 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, along with numerous extended family members. Gail was preceded in death by her brothers Frankie (Joe), Ralph, Billy, and Harold; her daughter, Lisa Irwin; and her grandson, Cory Collins. A member of both the First Methodist Church of La Grange and Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church, Gail was deeply rooted in her faith and community. Her commitment to her family was evident through her career as a stay-at-home mother, where she poured her love and energy into creating a nurturing home. Gail's hobbies included scrapbooking and crafting, always keen to capture family memories and milestones. She also treasured going on adventures with her children and grandchildren, creating lasting memories. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, 11 am at Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church with interment to follow in Floydsburg Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, 4-8 pm, Stoess Funeral Home in Crestwood, KY. Gail's life was a testament to the power of family, faith, and love. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
