Mrs. Leona “Gail” Adkins Price, 63, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2024. She was born November 22, 1960 in Yadkin County to the late Logan Mirl Adkins and Louise Mourey Adkins. Gail had a dog named Zoey, who she loved dearly. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Barbara Willard, Betty Palmer, Sharon Royall, and Garnetta Adkins; and brothers, Gerald Adkins, Donnie Adkins, Roger Adkins, Jerry Adkins, Ellsworth “Erik” Adkins, and Kennard Dickey. Surviving are her husband, Terry Price; daughter, Chrystal Gail Price; son, Jeffrey Lee Price; sisters, Karen Johnson (Johnny Turner) and Norma (Ted) Collins; and a brother, Spike (Helen) Adkins, and her lifelong friend Jeannie Felts Greer. The family will receive friends, Monday, July 1, 2024 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 4:00 PM in the Gentry Family Chapel with burial to follow at Marantha Church Cemetery. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Price family.
