Gail Kathryn Warwick

Gail Kathryn Warwick - It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Gail Kathryn Warwick of Knoxville, Tennessee who went to be with the lord on March 8, 2026, at the age of 80. Gail was born October 5, 1945, in Harriman, Tennessee to George Randall Smith and Virginia Rose Smith (Roberts). She was saved and of the Baptist faith and carried that faith with her throughout her life. Gail was known to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as Nana and Nan.

Gail found great joy in gardening and spent many hours nurturing her beloved flower gardens. Some of Gail's happiest times were spent vintage shopping with her dear friend, Sue Hamilton. She was a very proud and loving mother to her children and treasured every moment with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Gail was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Cowan Warwick, Jr., her daughter, Kimberly Misty Lenear, and grandchildren, Chloe Grace Slaven and Bryan Warwick. Gail is also preceded in death by her parents, George Randall Smith and Virginia Rose Smith (Roberts), brothers, Johnny Smith, George "Tommy" Smith, Willard Lee Smith, Kenneth L. Smith, Ralph "Bo" Smith, Jimmy Joe Smith, Billy Frances, and her sister, Joyce Marie Roberts.

She is survived by son, Phillip Lee Hoskins, Jr., and daughter, Michelle Leigh Hoskins (Grant), Angie Warwick and Freddy Warwick, III; Grandchildren, Eric Norton (Kailey), Courtney Snell (Cass), Zachary Pearson (Brianna), Whitney Noble (Dakota), Hayley Lenear and Jeremiah Slaven (Averi). Great-grandchildren, Lucas Lenear who held a very special place in his "Nan's" heart, Charleigh Pearson, Walker Pearson, Amelia Norton, Nehemiah Norton, Issac Norton, Beckett Snell, Tilden Snell, Carter Slaven, Canyon Noble and 5 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren in Florida. Brother David Frances and sisters, Nancy (Frances) Teeter whom she had a special bond with and loved with all her heart and Faye Frances. Several nephews and nieces.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM on Sunday, March 22, 2026 at Bridges Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow at 4:00 PM, with Reverend Justin Walker officiating.
