WIDING, Gail E. - Age 87, of Fenton, passed away on November 25, 2024, peacefully in her home, surrounded by loved ones. Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, December 8, 2024, at Fenton First Presbyterian Church 503 S. Leroy Street, Fenton. Pastor Robbie Carnes will officiate. Visitation will start at 2:00 PM until the time of service. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Fenton. Memorial contributions in Gail's memory would be appreciated to the Girl Scouts of America or The Humane Society of Genesee County.

Gail was born in Flint on October 10, 1937, the daughter of Forest Howard and Doris Elizabeth (Marsh) Adams. She married Henry Widing on November 16, 1973 in Lucas County, Ohio. Gail graduated from Fenton High School, Class of 1955, where she was a majorette. She was employed as a Licensed Cosmetologist for many years. Gail was a member of the Fenton Moose Club for 45 years. She served as a Girl Scout Leader for Troop #166. Gail enjoyed reading romance novels, bowling, road trips, scrap booking, and winter sports. She loved her pet dogs deeply.

Gail is survived by her husband, Henry; children, James (Coleen) Hager, Teresa (Kirk) Brown, Mike (Vickie) Widing, Debbie (Ruben) Ruiz, and Rob (Jackie) Widing; 14 grandchildren (Tiffany, Kirk, April, Laura, Sarah, Michael, Virginia, Juan, Spring, SolMaria, Alicia, Ashlee, Zachary, and Jessica); and 23 great grandchildren.
