Ganesh - Remembering you on the 10th anniversary of 9/11. In the brief period of having you as a room mate in Boston, I remember you as a really calm and peaceful person with a smile on your face despite the worries in your head. It was always a delight to talk to hang out with you - Truly miss you my friend. My thoughts and prayers to you and your family.

Ganesh...
I knew you while you were in Burlington, Boston. I wish you continued to stay there instead of going to NY. I still remember the small talk we had on a Friday evening on Hindi songs and music .. you had purchased an aiwa music system then.
I remember you mentioning how closely-knit your whole family was in Pune.
May God bless all of your family and your soul rests in peace.

I work for General Motors, and today all of the employees at our site chose a name at random from those who were lost in last September's tradgedy.I chose Ganesh Ladkat.I proudly wore a badge with his name and picture in rememberance of this young man throughout the day. I pray for him and his family. I too lost a daughter last year in a motorcycle accident. Her name was Vicki, she was 30 years old, so I know the pain and anguish the family is going through. I am going to keep the badge and picture with the remembrances we have of Vicki's life. We will remember Ganesh, and pray for his family.

although i did not know you, i selected your story today at random after a long respite from reading about those lost on september 11th. god bless you , dear young man, for following your dream and coming to work at the WTC "at the top of the world." i'm humbled by your achievement--coming from india to work at the place of your dreams. your brief life inspires me.... peace and love to your wife and family. i will not give up on my dreams ... because of you, i will work exta hard to restore love and humanity, in what ever small ways i can, regardless of race, color or creed.

rest in love and peace,

sincerely,

America Cries

We see your sorrow-

and our hearts cry....

We can not erase your pain

but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-

-the American people-

are beside you.

We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,

the strength that gives you courage,

and the words to lighten your spirits.

And when we are left speechless

may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts

to ease your sorrow.

May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-

-the American people-

face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
