Ganim was a childhood friend of our son, Jeff, and his mother and I were also good friends. It is heartbreaking to know he has passed away. I send my sincere sympathy to his family.

I will always remember a conversation we had in December 2023 as he prepared to go volunteer in Palestine. I know no one else brave enough to do that and was so worried about him going. He responded "I feel I have to do something more than post about it in social media. I will be safe, I've not made it this far in life to check out early". That will stick with me forever.

Ganim would begin his text messages to me with "Hi, Boss" which always made me smile - it was completely unnecessary but stuck with me. And he'd always be aware of any severe weather or other events in my area and check-in to make sure I was okay.

Ganim was always so thoughtful of others, keeping in touch and checking in no matter how he had going on himself.

Ganim was a coworker and a friend. I´ll always remember the time we carpooled to work together and he picked me up in a bright red convertible. There was never a dull moment with Ganim and he´ll be greatly missed.
