Gardner Spahr Lester

Uncle Gardner was a special man and wonderful human being. Some of my earliest childhood memories (and fondest) were spent at Uncle Gardner's and Aunt Carolyn's home in Holt with Jenny, Bonnie and Gary. While life has taken us all on different paths, when we take the time to reminisce and reflect on our roots, we find true meaning. My thoughts are with you all. Cherish the memories you have as they will provide comfort. May God be with you all in your time of grief, providing peace. Thank you for sharing a short, yet impactful, part of your lives with the Cassady girls.

It was a honor to know Gardner he was such a gentle soul always helping others. He always had kind words and wisdom when Joann passed. He will hold a special place in my heart and the memories of his visits.

Thank you for always being my Uncle Ga-Ga. You loved me from my birth. I know that we will see you again in Heaven one day. Tell all the family we love and miss them. You are forever loved Uncle Gardner.
