Garnet Ethel (Jackson) Mollett, age 84 of Oak Hill, OHio passed away on December 16, 2025. She was born on November 25, 1941, in Oak Hill, Ohio, to the late Laurie Ellen (Williams) and Floyd Jackson.
Garnet was a graduate of Oak Hill High School class of 1961. She married her husband, Robert Lee Mollett, on August 22, 1960. Garnet retired from the mushroom plant, where she was known for her hard work and dedication. She loved taking long walks and could often be found in her garden, as she could make anything grow! She also enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and reading.
Garnet is survived by her children: Jerry Lee Mollett, Michael Lee (Tracy) Mollett, Penny Lee (John) Parker, Laurie Jones (Adam Joos), and Tommy Lee (Beth) Mollett; sisters: Virginia Staley of Kentucky, Ida Bell Franks of Arizona, and Anna Bayse; grandchildren: Amy Yates, Matthew Mollett, Garnet Ashley Mollett, Jessica Williams, Daniel Parker, Dustin Jones, Corey Jones, Cody Mollett, Jacob Mollett, Hannah Bonecutter, Brooklyn Mollett, and Kate Barker; step-grandchildren, Lorenda Tolliver, John Lewis, and TC Lewis; 16 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Mollett Sr.; son, Robert Lee Mollett Jr.; brothers; Ora , James, Walter, and Charles Jackson; as well as sisters, Marilyn Jackson and Pauline Jackson.
The family will greet friends at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill on Friday, December 19, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Online condolences can be sent to lewisgillum.com
