Garrett Joseph Davis, 40, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 6, 2026. Born in Springfield, he lived in Ludlow with his good friend Mika, his cherished rescue dog. Garrett graduated from Belchertown High School in 2004 and worked as a licensed plumber.
An exceptional skier and snowboarder, Garrett also loved working in his garden and doing tree work with his father and brother. Most of all, Garrett loved deep sea fishing off the coast of New Hampshire and the Miami Dolphins. Over the years, he made many friends, from his childhood, high school, college and work. He was a wonderful cook who loved to experiment with food and share it with his family. Garrett was a quick-witted, fun-loving young man who had a kind soul and loved his family deeply. He will live on in our hearts forever. We are proud to call him our son.
He will be dearly missed by his loving parents Dennis and Patricia (Zuccala) Davis of Springfield, devoted brother Christopher Davis and his wife Kristin of Belchertown, their children, whom Garrett adored; Logan and Landon, his caring Aunt Laura Povanda of PA and his cousin Matt Povanda.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at Wilbraham Funeral Home, 2551 Boston Rd., Wilbraham. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to Dakin Humane Society, 171 Union St., Springfield, MA 01105.
