Garrett Emery Walters, born on May 11, 1994, in Stillwater, Oklahoma, left this world on January 28, 2026, in his beloved hometown. He was a dedicated husband, father, son, brother, grandson, and friend, whose life was marked by his strong sense of family and a love for adventure.
Growing up in Stillwater, Garrett graduated from Stillwater High School in 2013 and shortly thereafter, he answered the call to serve his country by joining the United States Marine Corps. His service spanned from 2013 to 2017, during which he formed lifelong bonds with fellow Marines. His time in the military shaped his character and instilled in him a profound sense of duty and respect.
On November 2, 2019, Garrett married the love of his life, Jazmyn Hall, in a ceremony that celebrated their deep commitment to one another. Together, they built a beautiful family, welcoming three cherished daughters: Everly, Brianna, and Cheyenne. Garrett took immense joy in being a father and often made time to share in the laughter and adventures of his girls.
Garrett had a passion for the outdoors, enjoying activities such as motorcycles, guns, hunting, and cars. He was known for his playful antics, often seen stealing food while Jazmyn was cooking, a testament to his playful spirit and love for family gatherings.
He leaves behind his wife Jazmyn Walters, his beloved children Everly, Brianna, and Cheyenne Walters, his parents Dallan and Barbara Walters, his siblings Amanda Walters and Kristin Hankins, his nieces and nephews Karalyn Walters, Peyton Hankins, and Ryder Hankins, and his cherished grandmothers, Lynda Williams and Murldeen Walters. Additionally, he leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and his Marine Corps buddies who stood by him through thick and thin.
Garrett was preceded in death by both of his grandfathers, James “Jim” Williams and Leon Walters. His memory will forever be held dear by his family and friends, whose lives he touched with his kindness, humor, and zest for life.
