I first heard about Garry Davis through his daughter Athena 30 years ago. I didn't really understand what he represented. Thirty years later, I finally understand his vision and I admire his idealism. Thank you, Garry Davis, for being an important trailblazer. (And to Athena: my condolences to you and your family. It would be great if we reconnected again after all these years! [email protected])

Gary, was one of those people you meet only once in a life time. I am going to miss those spirited conversations we always had when you came by the course. I know you are in a place now with out borders. Rest in peace old friend I will miss you.

Gary was an amazing person and a very important world leader. I had the pleasure to meet him in San Francisco and discuss collaborations between world citizenship and world government movements. He was a tireless activist for world government and an inspiration to all citizens of our world. Thank you Gary for your wonderful life of service to humanity!

I have known Mr. Davis for over 16 years. He came into the store where I worked. He gave me a copy of his book, "My Country Is The World". I was glad to have known him.

Let me add my condolences to Garry's family members. They should be proud of Garry because of his commitment to the ideal of world citizenship and world government as the way to end war & militarism in our global community. He saw clearly that a main contributor to international war was too much nationalism/patriotism and the unlimited sovereignty of national governments.

I send condolences and high congratulations to the many people worldwide who have picked up the challenge of living their lives as world citizens. Garry has been a leader for us all. His son, Troy, is also a great leader of the movement to create world democracy, and as an engineer by education and technical skills, Troy is a democracy engineer, and founder of the School of Democracy Project in Strasbourg, France. At a 90th birthday celebration for Garry I also met his other son, Kim. This was one of many celebrations in honor of the example set by Garry Davis. Garry is not a formal member of the World Federalist Movement or its many component organizations around the world, but we hold him in high regard.

Garry Davis was a courageous leader in the movement toward Global Citizenship. I was honored by his visit to me at the University of Florida campus in Gainesville in the 1980s . I salute his bravery and I am happy to know his son Troy Davis who has followed in Gary's footsteps.
Rest in Peace .
