Garry Lee Wetherill Sr.

Garry Lee Wetherill, Sr., age 66, of Battle Creek passed away peacefully on Monday evening, November 11, 2019 with his loving family at his side. He was born in Battle Creek on November 8, 1953, the son of Arthur L.. and Gladys M. (Ellis) Wetherill. Garry graduated from Battle Creek Central High School and worked for many years at Tichenor Roofing. He loved doing wood working and going to the flea markets, but most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren, whom he loved so dearly. Garry is survived by his children, Marie Ann Wetherill, Garry Lee Wetherill II., Anna Marie Wetherill, and Courtney Healy; four grandchildren, Mercedes Healy, Adrionna Healy, Alexis Wetherill, and Jacob McDonald; his children's mother, Betty Chimner; his brothers & sisters, Arthur Wetherill, Larry Wetherill, Rick Wetherill, Mike Wetherill, Kathryn Hoffman, Ruth Hoffman; his favorite niece, Kimmy Pooh; and several other nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Harold Hoffman; and a sister, Doris Wetherill. A memorial gathering & potluck to celebrate Garry's life will be held 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, November 17th @ The Robin's Nest, 16181 10 Mile Rd, Battle Creek, MI 49014.
