I was so very saddened to hear the news about Garth´s passing. I married his niece 35 years ago and was immediately welcomed into the Croft extended family, especially by Terena´s Uncle Garth. He treated me so warmly and showed genuine love toward me. We talked easily with one other and became good friends. Family was so extremely important to him. He wanted everyone to feel like they belonged in the family, and that included me. I can´t express how much that meant to me. Garth was a great man and has earned the right to rest in peace and happiness with so many of his loved ones whom he hasn´t seen for so long. Thinking of his reunion with his father especially brings tears to my eyes. I know that his eternal reward will be great. Prayers for and condolences to his amazing family.

I was honored to work with Garth for many years in the MLS program at the UofU. He influenced 100s and 100s of students. And he mentored me in microbiology education and MLS admininstration. I learned valuable lessons from him, in how to serve and how to be kind. He was a good friend. I know I speak for med techs all across the state of Utah - thank you, Garth, for everything you did for our profession over the years. You are highly regarded by all of us.
