Garth C. Dooley

Garth C. Dooley, 96, of Greenville, passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, in Greenville, Texas. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M., Monday, July 8, 2024, at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. James Ralson officiating. Interment will be in Memoryland Memorial Park. Visitation will be 10:00 A.M. until service time.
Mr. Dooley was born July 14, 1927, in Cash, Texas, to Henry Dooley and Ida Mae Downing. He married Mary Meier on June 26, 1999, in Green Mountain Falls, Colorado. He was a farmer, and won farmer of the year, and a truck driver. Garth attended First Baptist Church of Quinlan and Highland Terrace Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lynn Dooley of Cannon City, Colorado; son, David Dooley of Greenville, Texas; grandchildren, Michael Dooley and wife Ashley, John Dooley and wife Michealle, Amy White and husband Aaron, Lori Herrera and husband Daniel, Jessica Dooley and fiancé Justin Ross and Gavin Koen; great-grandchildren, Laighla Gassner, Alyvea Dooley, Madoxx Dooley, Kash Dooley, Delilah Dooley, Seirra Garcia, Grayson Guest, Hannah White, Caroline White, Sarah White, Madilynn Herrera and Gracelynn Herrera; great-great-grandchildren, Aliah Record and Hagen Cabe.
He was preceded in death by daughter, Fran Dooley, son, Joe Dooley, parents and sister, Winona Fay Dooley.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Mitchell, Bobby Green, Mark Davies, Norman Kirkman and Newman Peters.
Honorary pallbearer will be Andy Kalmanson.
