Gary Don Ahrens SR

Gary Don Ahrens SR., age 70, of Stilwell, Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at Siloam Springs Nursing and Rehab in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. He was born on September 16, 1955, in Colcord, Oklahoma, to Roy Sylvester Ahrens and Etta Mae Johnston Ahrens. On October 19, 1977, he married Clara P. Summers. Mr. Ahrens worked as a laborer most of his life and enjoyed gardening, animals, chevy hot rods, and most of all, his family. He will be missed and loved by all who knew him. Gary was preceded in death by his mother, Etta Mae Johnston Ahrens; his father, Roy Sylvester Ahrens; his son, Tommy Ahrens; three sisters, Velda Smith, Susie Ahrens, and Bonnie Dennis; two brothers, Cecil Ahrens, and Tommy Ahrens.

He is survived by his wife, Clara P. Ahrens of Stilwell, Oklahoma; his son, Gary Don Ahrens JR. (Destini), of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; his daughter, Danielle Ahrens of Westville, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Samantha Lester (Austin) of Stilwell, Oklahoma, Michael Ahrens of Westville, Oklahoma, Mia Ahrens of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, and Malachi Ahrens of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; great grandchildren, Brooklyn Lester of Stilwell, Oklahoma, and River Lester of Stilwell, Oklahoma; four sisters, Maxine Howard, Margie Morden, Joan Smithson and Charlotte Mouse; two brothers, Bobby Ahrens, and Kenny Ahrens; several loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

A visitation is scheduled from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. A funeral service is schedule for 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, Arkansas with a committal service to follow at Johnson Cemetery in West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma.
