Chip, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your father. He always had a smile and kind words and could be counted on donating his blood at all of my blood drives at CHS. Prayers for his wonderful family.

So sorry for the loss of Gary. He was a special guy with a love for doing the right things. . A good Christian.

Always sad to read about the passing of family and Gary Allran was the only other Allran I knew except for Sadie and Jim. Mrs Lola Allran was my husband Bill's grandmother and all were close to Gary. He was known to be a a loving Christian man who always had a smile on his face . My prayers for the family.

I knew Gary from our association at Carolina Freight Carriers and worshiping together at St. John's Lutheran Church. I never remember seeing Gary without a huge smile on his face. He always greeted you enthusiastically like he was so happy to see you. These are wonderful memories of our sweet friend, Gary. Condolences to your family. What a wonderful Dad you all had. Larry and I will always remember our first date was with your sweet parents to a Lenoir Rgyne football game. A lovely Christian couple--so kindvto everyone!

It is always difficult to read of the passing of am old family friend. Hugh Davis worked with Gary at Carolina Freight for a long time...but also socialized and "Scouted" with Hugh, Wilda, Joyce and Rhoda. Rhoda has been recounting stories ever since she read the news...precious memories how they linger!

I worked with Gary at Carolina Freight for many years and never met anyone like him.
A true man of God and a true friend. He will be missed. I'm sorry for your lose but Heaven is even more brighter now.

What a great, nice man Gary Allran was. He was always at the Little League games when our sons played ball together. What a pleasure it was to see him at those games. We had a wonderful time, and we became friends with him and Julia. Wonderful memories of both of them. They were special folks. Our deepest sympathy to Chip, Alice, and Clara Sue. I had the pleasure of taking care of this sweet man in the hospital prior to him passing. He was such a grateful and pleasant soul. There's no doubt he is looking down at us.
