Gary E. Bayer, of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Friday, December 27, 2024, at the age of 90. Beloved husband of the late Joy Bayer; cherished son of the late William and Agnes Bayer. Devoted father of Doug (Dawn) Bayer and Sherry (Paul) Sawchak; loving grandfather of 7 and Great Grandfather of 11.
Gary proudly served in the United States Army and was a dedicated member of All Saints Catholic Church. He had a passion for golfing and tennis and cherished time spent with his family. Gary devoted over 30 years of his career to McDonnell Douglas and embraced a love for travel after retirement. He especially enjoyed his time at Lake of the Ozarks, where he loved boating and taking his family skiing. Gary was also actively involved in his community, serving on the Architectural Board at the Four Seasons and participating in the McDonnell Douglas retiree groups. Gary was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
