Gary Bone, a loving family man, hard worker, and dedicated individual, passed away on July 21, 2023. Born on April 18, 1953, in Bonne Terre, Missouri, Gary lived a life filled with love, passion, and meaningful relationships.

Gary will be remembered for his unwavering commitment to his family and his proudest accomplishment – being a father and grandfather. He cherished every moment spent with his loved ones and created countless precious memories that will forever be cherished.

Gary is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years Charlotte Bone who stood by his side through thick and thin, supporting him with love and care. Together, they built a strong foundation for their family and shared countless cherished memories. Gary's children, Connie Harbison and husband Todd, Doug Mercille and wife Sandy, Kevin Michael Mercille, Patrick Bone and wife Kelly, also survive him. Their lives were profoundly impacted by their father's love and guidance.

Gary will also be dearly missed by his son-in-law David Johns; sisters Barb Mallia, Lisa Molly and husband Edward, Vicki Haynes and husband Tom, Gina Hall and husband Dan. His brothers David Bone and wife Judy, Ronnie Bone and wife Debbie, Kevin "Slick" Bone and wife Cathy, Randy "Panda" Bone and wife Lisa were not just siblings but lifelong friends who provided support throughout every stage of life. Gary's memory will also live on through his 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. They will carry within them the values he instilled and the love he showered upon them. Gary was preceded in death by his beloved daughter Leslie Bone, son Robert Mercille, mother Martha Celeste (Juliette) Bone, father Edward Francis Bone Jr; brothers, Jim Bone, Eddie Bone and Sister, Peggy Bone.

In his free time, Gary found solace in various hobbies and interests. He enjoyed fishing trips that allowed him to connect with nature and unwind from the demands of everyday life. Golf was another pastime that brought him joy and allowed him to challenge himself while enjoying the company of friends. Additionally, Gary found peace in his workshop where he tirelessly worked on projects that reflected his creativity and dedication to craftsmanship. Going on walks was one of Gary's simple pleasures as it provided an opportunity for reflection and appreciation of the world around him. Gary was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to providing for his family. He approached every task with determination and perseverance. His dedication was recognized by those who knew him best and admired by all who had the pleasure of crossing paths with him.

As we celebrate the life of Gary, let us remember the joy he brought into this world. May we find solace in knowing that he lived a life filled with love for his family and dedication to what mattered most to him. Let us carry forward his legacy by cherishing our own loved ones as he did throughout his remarkable journey on this Earth.
