Gary Neil Bradt

Gary Neil Bradt Son of Twila (Castor) and Rex Bradt was born on September 5, 1953 at Clayton, New Mexico. He passed away on April 11, 2024 at the age of 70 years.
Gary attended Freedom public schools where he graduated in 1971.
Gary went to Heating and Air Conditioning school in Wichita after High School.
He met Teresa Gail Sjostrom and was married in 1980. To this union a daughter Tabitha Ann was born. In 2008 Dakota Province joined the family.
In the early '70's Gary went to work for Turner Transport of Freedom where he worked for 14+ years. After Turner Transport closed out, Gary went to work for Hull Trucking for 16+ years. From 1979-1999 Gary worked as a Volunteer Fire Fighter where he retired as Chief.
In 2012 Gary went to work for Woods County District 2 Shed where he retired in September 2023.
Gary was an avid fisherman and hunter. The family would get together for Annual Fish Fry's where he would supply and cook the fish.
Gary also loved his Lotto. You could always find him buying the Pick 3's.
He was also on the Volunteer Freedom Chamber of Commerce for 40+ years. He worked the Annual Concession at the South Side Concession stand.
He was a very involved member of the Woods County Republican Party.
Gary was an ordained minister where he joined several couples in marriage. He was looking forward to officiating his best-friends daughters wedding.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, an infant brother Jerrell, his wife Teresa, his brother Myron Bradt and good friend Tim Wilcox.
Gary is survived by daughter Tabitha and husband Tony of Chester, OK. grandchildren Cheyenne and Cole Justice, Logan and Cager Robinson, and Makayla Mirach, and 2 great grandchildren, Brycen and Aubrie Leal, and his son Dakota Province of Freedom.
Many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
