Gary Allen Brinkman

Gary Allen Brinkman passed away October 9, 2023 in McKinney, Texas at the age of 73. He was born to Melvin and Jean (Swartzlander) Brinkman on October 10, 1949 in Toledo, Ohio.
Gary graduated from Bowsher High School in Toledo, Ohio, Class of 1967. He received his degree in biology from the University of Manchester in Manchester, Indiana. On May 30, 1971 he married Patricia Ann Wolf in Rossville, Indiana.
After graduating from Manchester, Gary went to work for Purdue University where he worked on Popcorn Genetics Research. He then went to work for Moore Business Forms where he spent 23 years and created many lasting relationships. The last years of his life were spent in various sales endeavors.
Gary enjoyed bowling- which he did left and right-handed, traveling, fishing, and gardening. His family was very important to him, especially his grandchildren.
Gary is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Brinkman of McKinney, Texas; son, Kyle Brinkman and wife, April of McKinney, Texas; son, Cory Brinkman and wife, Jennifer of Gainesville, Texas; daughter, Kimberly Flobeck and husband, Tommy of Carrollton; seven grandchildren, Jordan, Abby, Zachry, Noel, Isabella, Lucy and Finn; and sister, Sally Polcyn and husband, Chuck of Bowling Green, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, October 16, 2023 at Denton Bible Church in Denton, Texas. The service will also be livestreamed at the following link:
