Gary Allen Burgess, 82, passed away on November 19, 2025, in Harker Heights, Texas, with both of his daughters at his side. Born in Pleasant Grove, Utah, Gary built a life rooted in dedication, resilience, and quiet strength. Though he called Vancouver, Washington his home, he also cherished his residence in Okeechobee, Florida, where he spent his later years with his love, Sally Westphal.

A proud U.S. Army veteran, Gary served his country with honor. The values he carried from his military service - discipline, loyalty, and integrity-guided him throughout his life and shaped the way he cared for those around him.

Gary was a devoted father to his two daughters, Sherri Lynn Music and Patricia Ann Paige, and a loving grandfather to Joey Music and Alysa Ripley, as well as three great-grandchildren. He cherished his family deeply and found great joy in every moment he spent with them.
