I am so sorry to hear that Gary Bucher passed away so long ago and I didn´t know about it, but of course we have been separated for many years due to retirement and different work assignments.

I worked in NAVSEA with Gary for several years and we carpooled together for a few along the way. I met many men during all those years; though I was a US Navy officer I never knew Gary when he was on active duty, but I knew from the years I knew him that he was a man among men the most easy to get along with man I ever met. Friendly and fun. Such a shame that I don´t have any photos of Gary or Dolly. .... Charlie Griner.

Dolly & family,I wish to convey my sincere condolences to you for Garys passing.I knew nothing about it until I saw his name on the Taps list in the USS FDR news letter
.The last time I had seen Gary was when he & I tossed the memorial wreath off the battleship Wisconsin in Norfolk.Although we only saw each other at FDR reunions I always considered you two very good friends. He is serving aboard a new ship under a wonderful Captain & looking forward to the day you will be with him again.
