I knew Gary Christopher a long time ago for a fairly brief period of time. Based on the brief interaction I had with him at that time there was absolutely nothing in the exemplary life he lead that surprised me in the least. What was in the story of his life matched so perfectly with what I knew of Gary during the brief time we knew each other, that the only surprise was how spectacularly he did succeed in everything he did. The world is truly a better place because of what Gary did while he was here.
