Gary Damron, age 72, of Millard, Ky., passed away Sunday, Feb. 16, 2025 at Fed's Creek. Gary was born on Sept. 25, 1952 to his parents the late George Damron and Moudie Mae Meadows Damron. He was a retired coal miner and of the baptist faith.
Along with his parents, Gary was preceded in death by four brothers, George Jr., James Edward, Troy, and Jimmy Darrell Damron, and three sisters, Wanda Thacker, Eloise Bevins, and Vanessa Bentley.
Gary is survived by his beloved pet and best friend, Princess, two daughters, Melissa Dell Damron, Michelle Bechtel, four sisters, Margaret White, Patty LeMaster, Janice Rowe, Daphene (Ricky) Boyd, two grandchildren, Madelyn Dell and Jase Thomas, niece and nephews, Beverly and Bill Stiltner, Zackary Damron, Kenneth Ray Damron, Bo LeMaster, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Saturday, Feb. 22, 2025 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with James Johnson and Dorton General Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the R.H. Ratliff Cemetery at Shelbiana.
