Gary Michael Dasko Age 74
April 30 1947-January 1 2022
Born in Walsen Camp Colorado to Mike and Betty Dasko. Gary was a veteran of the USAF and beginning in his youth, had an extremely wide range of interests including the sciences, athletics, horse behavior and training, bull riding, mechanics, theology and martial arts, where he gained rank in two disciplines.
He was known by all as someone who was continually seeking greater education and knowledge. He received his bachelor's degrees in physics and electrical engineering, and a Master of Business Administration. He was also working towards a Master of Divinity.
Every bit the cowboy, he was also a mathematician, scientist, engineer and bible scholar. His professional life encompassed a diversity of fields: mining & carpentry, project management, electronics and engineering.
Gary had a great fondness for the outdoors. He was a member of the Colorado Christian 4-wheelers club and an avid fly fisherman. Still, Gary's truest passion was his deep faith and love of God and the study of His Word. Retirement gave Gary the time to pursue his heart's desire, to study the Bible and to discover and know its deepest truths.
He will forever be remembered as an extremely intelligent, indomitable, hard-working man, unique, generous, and most of all a lover of Jesus Christ.
Preceded in death by his father Mike Dasko, mother Betty Dasko, wife Sharon Dasko, and infant son Gary Michael Dasko Jr.
Gary is survived by his brother George Dasko (Chris), sister Marcia Dasko, sons Daniel Dasko, Tyson Dasko (Lindsey), Odin Dasko (Rachae), George Lengrand (Ashlie), daughter Karen Torres (Robert), 22 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and his life-long friend David Shephard.
A one-off from God's own hand. Not meant for mass production as the world could only handle one.
