Gary Robert Davis

Brodhead, WI – Gary Robert Davis, age 70, passed away on November 15, 2023, at Mercy Hospital in Janesville.
Gary was born on October 30, 1953, in Beloit, WI, the son of Robert Davis and Esther Gile.
Gary graduated from Albany High School in 1972 and later received his Associate's Degree in Marketing from Blackhawk Technical College. For many years, Gary worked as a real estate agent, a machinist for Besly Products in Beloit, a bartender at Flynn's Supper Club, and later retired from Colony Brands in Monroe in their food division's quality assurance department. Gary was a patriot and served his country as a U.S. Marine and was honorably discharged in 1975. Gary was always the fun guy in the room and everyone enjoyed his company. He enjoyed dancing, eating out with his family and friends, and spending time with his loved ones. His friends called him Little Britches.
Gary is survived by his 2 daughters, Corrie (Gary) Hollingsworth and Erin Davis; 2 step-children, Bob Geyer and Cindy (Bob) Wyborn; 5 grandchildren, Elliot Loveland, Kelsie Loveland, Kayla (Zack) Basara, Kelly Geyer, and Nehemiah Schroeder; 5 great grandchildren, Noah, Isaiah, Bentlei, Cade, and Gunner; 3 siblings, Jim Davis, John Alderman and Tammy (Matt) Alderman-Miller; 3 step-siblings, Gary Alderman, Sherry Coleman (Paul) and Crystal Alderman and many other nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Gary was preceded in death by his father, Robert Davis; his mother, Esther Davis-Alderman and his stepfather, Michael Alderman.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the family in Gary's memory.
A visitation will be held at the DL Newcomer Funeral Home in Brodhead on Friday, December 8, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A visitation will also be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023, from 10:00 AM until the time of services at 11:00 AM.
