He was born on April 5, 1951, in Waverly, NY, the son of the late John Eltringham and Hilda (Brown) Coe.

Gary was a Veteran of the US Navy, serving during the Vietnam War. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed Rock and Roll Music, NASCAR, and he was avid about watching Penn State and the Philadelphia Eagles.

More than anything, Gary treasured spending time with the love of his life, Karen, up until her passing a year ago. Since then, he carried a broken heart and longed for the day he could be reunited with her. Now, Gary and Karen are together again, eternally in love and peace.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his wife, Karen Eltringham and son Tony Eltringham.

Gary is survived by his daughter and son-in-law; Kelley (David) Hursh, son and his fiancé; Jerame Eltringham and Megan Leary, son and daughter-in-law; Chris and Virginia McClintic, and son; Jason Eltringham, grandchildren; Graesyn Eltringham, Sawyer Eltringham, Wyatt Hursh, Levi Hursh, Ruby Eltringham, Sienna Hursh, Bethanie (John) Northrup, Connor (Alyse) McClintic, Daniel Blauch, and Maycee Eltringham, great-grandson; Blake Northrup and great-granddaughter; Delilah McClintic. He is also survived by his brother; John Eltringham, sister; Debby Eltringham, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
