Gary Lewis Eversole

Mr. Gary Lewis Eversole, age 62, of Scottsburg, Indiana formerly of Madison entered this life on April 27, 1962 in Madison, Indiana. He was the loving son of the late, Eugene "Gene" Eversole and Fannie Mae Lyons Eversole. He was raised in Madison and graduated from Madison Consolidated High School in 1984. He enjoyed lifting weights, exercise, sports, NASCAR, watching television, especially Spiderman and Marvel movies. He worked with his mother on managing her apartment and real estate business. After the death of his mother he lived with his brother, Robert Wayne and enjoyed helping him on his property and mowing the lawn. He was a member of the North Madison Baptist Church and had enjoyed participating in Special Olympics. Gary died on Friday, May 10, 2024, at 1:20 p.m. at the Norton Scott County Memorial Hospital in Scottsburg, Indiana. Please Click Here to View the Video Tribute

Eversole of Lebanon, Ohio; his niece, Angie Hamilton of Madison, Indiana; his aunts, Patricia Diane Lyons Burr Dixon of Lexington, Indiana; Kathleen Perry of North Vernon, Indiana, Faye Bickers of Madison, Indiana, Rose Clark of Columbus, Indiana, Carol East of Florida. He was preceded in death by father, Eugene Eversole, died May 25, 1982, mother, Fannie Mae Lyons Eversole, died October 12, 2016, his nephew, Richard E. "Little Richard" Eversole, died May 13, 1976, his uncles, Robert E. Lyons, died March 14, 2005, Franklin David Lyons, died 1939, Jerry Hollis Lyons, died October 17, 2014, Keith Dixon, died May 3, 2024, Darrell Wayne Eversole, died September 2, 1994, Hank "H.C." Eversole, died November 6, 2016, Marvin Polly, died September 20, 2020, his aunts, Daisy E. Lyons Morris, died October 8, 2014, Shirley Lyons Dixon, died July 14, 1993, Betty Eversole Polly, died on July 23, 2023, Lillie Eversole Buchanan, died February 26, 2020, LaRue Eversole Davis, died February 23, 2010; his grandparents, Lewis Eversole, died February 28, 1986, Ora Williams Eversole, died January 31, 1968, Robert Lyons, died October 4, 1995, and Daisy J. McAllister Lyons, died December 14, 1982.
FUNERAL CEREMONY
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, May 17, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., by Pastor Frank McGee at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.
