Gary R. "Tap" Fore

To Wavah, Gary, and Stan. So sorry to hear of Tap's death. He was such a good friend to me. He did my engineering planning for many years at the New Product Development Center Bell Helicopter. After he started his and Garys, Fore Machine Co. I sent him many Bell Helicopter projects to expedite them and they were the best. Without Tap I would never have gotten to deer hunt in AK. It is really sad that Mr. Tap is gone. He was a brilliant and funny man. He cared a lot for his family, his friends, and even his employees. He was like a mentor to me. He taught me a lot of stuff. And he respected me and I respected him as well. It is really sad that he has left but I'm happy because I know that he is up there in heaven. He was one of the most inspirational and spiritual person that I ever talked with. When he spoke, he usually spoke with confidence. He was really cool, and we all are going to miss him.

Wavah, Gary and Stan, My heart is so sad about Tap going away. I will miss all the phone calls and His funny story's. He has kept Me laughing for the past year even though He was having a ruff day. Wavah & Family, may God comfort you in this time of sorrow. When we first sit down and visited with Tap he made us feel like we had known each other for ever. He had such a caring and loving soul and will be greatly missed. Pat & Roy Blackmon

Dad and I shared his love for hunting,fishing and arrowhead hunting. We had great conversations when we had a chance to visit. I enjoyed my working relationship with Tap but enjoyed our friendship even more. Will miss not having him here with us, his humor and that sideways grin.
