Gary Dean Gardner, age 66, died on January 30, 2026, in Heber Valley Assisted Living. He was born on January 10, 1960, in Anaheim, CA, to R. Grant Gardner and Clea Anderson. He married Monica Crockett, later divorced.
Gary grew up in Southern California. He played football in Junior High School, but gave up organized sports for riding dirt bikes in the desert. He later rode a motorcycle for many years. He worked in the automotive industry for most of his career, starting as a mechanic and ending as one who was sought out when others needed diagnostic help.
He is survived by his children: Katherine Gardner, Breanna Gardner and Jacob Gardner; brothers, Brant (Valerie) Gardner, Bruce (Sylvia) Gardner; sister, Debra Proctor; and sister-in-law Diane Gardner.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Kent Gardner, and brother-in-law, Kim Proctor.
Gratitude is extended to Bristol and Belle Vie Hospice and Heber Valley Assisted Living Center for their kind and compassionate service the last couple of months.
