Gary Gilileo Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Gentry-Morrison Funeral Homes - Serenity Gardens Chapel on Feb. 11, 2026.
Gary Lamar Gilileo Jr, age 61, of Lakeland, Florida entered eternal rest on Monday, February 9th, 2026. He was born on July 16th, 1964, in Clermont Florida, the son of Gary and Donia Gilileo.

Gary was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, great grandfather and friend to everyone that had ever met him. He was one of a kind from his childhood with his brothers Dion, Shane, Casey to his sister Christina and Cousin Greg to raising his own family with his lifelong partner Winifred and his three children Lamar, Trenton, Leslie, that idolized and loved him unconditionally for being an amazing father.

Gary was an avid outdoorsman that lived and breathed hunting and fishing and his goal was to spread those traits and memories throughout family and friends over the years and if you knew Gary he did just that! There was never a time he didn't have fishing poles, camo and a gun in his truck ready to cast a line or bust a deer or turkey.

His smile, laughter, jokes and personality could light up a room like a (q-beam) there was never a dull moment around Gary, and he could spark up a conversation with a complete stranger and make a new friend faster than a red light can change.

Gary is preceded in death by his loving wife Winifred Gilileo, parents Gary and Donia Gilileo, and granddaughter Laci Gilileo. He is survived by children, Lamar Gilileo III (Amanda), Trenton Gilileo (Brittany) and Leslie Bozeman (Christopher), Siblings Dion (Cori), Shane, Casey, Christina and his grandchildren, Kayden, Kamden, Waylon, Conway, Aubrey, Brooklyn, Brody, Savannah, Christopher Jr., Montana, and Kiersten; as well as one Great grandbaby Tate.

A gathering of family and friends for Gary will be held Wednesday, February 18, 2026, public visitation from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and service will be from 12:00 PM to 1:15 PM at Victory Church Assemblies of God located at 1401 Griffin Rd, Lakeland, FL 33810.

Following the service at Victory Church family and friend will be escorted from Victory Church to Oak Hill Burial Park Lakeland, FL where Gary Gilileo will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife Winifred Gilileo.
