Gary Glaze Obituary
Gary was an internationally known tenor of opera, oratorio and concerts - a considerate and witty gentleman who died at age 87. He had a special place in his heart for choral music and loved visiting Westerly for engagements with the Chorus of Westerly and singing with George Kent and friends at Christ Episcopal Church.
The son of Thelma and Harry Glaze, Gary is survived by his loving wife Cynthia Munzer, brothers Harry and James Glaze, sister-in-law Jan Glaze, step-daughter Christina Munzer, son-in-law Grant Milthorpe and grandsons, Rhys and Ciaran, nephews Brian Glaze and Michael Tacchella, and nieces Amy Glaze Hedayatpour, Kim Tacchella Hapner and Laurie Tacchella.
A memorial service will be held at Christ Episcopal Church, Westerly, RI on Thursday, January 15 at 11AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Arts Commission of Christ Church Westerly (https://
christchurchwesterly.org/giving) in Gary's memory.
