Gary Stephan Heinen

Gary S. Heinen, age 72 of Lakeville, MN passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on November 9, 2025. Gary was born on April 30, 1953 in Glencoe, MN to Earl and Iris Heinen. Gary grew up in Waconia, MN and was a 1971 graduate of Waconia High school, He proudly served his country for eight years in the US Air Force. Gary married Jacqueline Wagener on September 17, 1977 in Waconia. He received a degree in computer programing and became a software engineer for Wells Fargo, before his retirement. Gary loved spending time traveling and finding his 'Happy Place' at his home in Hawaii, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.

Gary is preceded in death by his father, Earl, and brother, Timothy Heinen. He is survived by his loving wife Jacqueline "Jackie"; sons, Zach (Donald Hayes) Heinen, and Nick (Karisa) Heinen; grandchildren, Maria, Lily, and an expected baby boy, Alexander; mother, Iris; brothers, Bryan (Beth), Greg (Claire), and Jason Heinen; sister-in-law, Michele Heinen, also by nieces, nephews, other family and friends,

Memorial Service will be held 11 AM Friday November 21, 2025 at the White Funeral Home, 20134 Kenwood TR., Lakeville, MN (952-469-2723), with a gathering of family and friends starting at 9:30 AM. Interment will be at Ft. Snelling at a later date to be determined.

In Remembrance of Gary and his love for Hawaii, the family is requesting Hawaiian attire to be worn. Thank you.
