Gary Dean Holm (64) also known as "Uncle Gary" to many, was born December 28th 1960 and passed away December 3rd 2025 in Conrad Montana. A man with the biggest heart, and the best jokes. Leaving behind a legacy of love and friendship that will be cherished "4 ever and ever". Gary was full of love, laughter and kindness. He always put others before himself and always found a way to make everyone around him laugh, even on their darkest days. His family and friends were the center of his world. Gary was born with a natural warmth that drew people in. Those who knew him know he had a way of making you smile.
He grew up in Brady Montana. At the age of eight Gary began raising rabbits and chickens which into his teen years became his first business adventure. During high school Gary loved sports, he even made it to state finals a couple times as a pole vaulter.
Gary’s life-long career of painting began at just 13 years old where he got his first job as a painter's helper. As the years went on, he continued with his passion and expertise of painting for many years eventually running his own painting business, Gary's Painting and Repair. He passed this passion on to many through the years including his only son, who followed in his footsteps.
Outside his work Gary found joy in playing a game of pool, a hobby he approached with competitiveness and fun. He was always known to have nicknames for everyone he played with! In his younger years he was a force on the drums playing with confidence. In his later years, he picked up the ability to play the spoons and could play right along to his favorite song "Seminole Wind". He carried a deep love for music and animals. Especially Alan Jackson, whose songs were often the soundtrack of his days.
Gary had a love for animals. His best friends were Mojo and Bogie.
Gary also developed a love for golfing in his later years. He had a passion for picking up the clubs and hitting the golf ball.
Gary will be remembered as a kind soul, a genuine friend and a man who cared deeply for those around him. He will be missed beyond measure. He is survived by his special friend, Donna Warwick, Children: Jerry Ewing (Jena), Tawny Lamma (Erik), and Sharlie Holm (Rocky).
