Gary Harold Huss passed peacefully on February 8, 2026 reunited with beloved family members who preceded him. After patiently and courageously enduring an 18-month battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP), he found rest and joy. Born in Rochester, New York, Gary's journey took him from his hometown through Colorado before settling in Utah, where he treasured his retirement years surrounded by family and dear friends.

In His middle years Gary embraced the Restored Gospel in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His faith became a guiding light. He served joyfully and faithfully in every calling he received, touching countless lives with his devotion and kindness. He truly loved God's children-especially his wife and family. An expert skier, gardener, and capable carpenter (and a pretty good golfer), Gary enjoyed learning, being of service, was generous and always unselfish. He loved nature and gently cared for many animals, including several not typically kept as pets.

He is survived by his loving wife, Linda; his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law; dear cousins; and many nieces, nephews, and grands who will carry forward his legacy of faith and love. The help and support given to him during his illness was invaluable, and the family is deeply grateful.

He will be laid to rest near his parents-in-law in East Lawn Memorial Hills.

John 13:34-35
