Gary Jutze, age 78, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2026.

Born on November 5, 1947 in College Point, New York, Gary was the oldest child of Walter and Helen Jutze. Gary was a veteran of the United States Navy and enlisted after graduating from high school. After he was discharged from service Gary married Judy, the love of his life, in April 1969. They moved to Long Island and were blessed with two children, Kimberley and Adam.

For over 30 years, Gary worked for the United States Post Office. To his customers, he was more than someone who delivered their mail. Gary went out of his way to make their lives easier, and he was appreciated for his kindness. After his retirement, Gary and Judy moved to Tellico Village which became their forever home. A lifelong car enthusiast, Gary served as President of the Village Vettes Corvette Club for seven years. He also enjoyed going out on the lake and playing pickleball with his friends.

Gary is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Helen.

Gary is survived by his loving wife, Judy (Volz) Jutze; children Kimberley and Adam (Melissa); grandchildren, Eric, Ashley, and Stephen; and his great-grandson Mason. He is also survived by his younger sisters, Gail (Jutze) McCoy and Betty Ann (Jutze)

Jacovino; and eight nephews and eight nieces as well as a loving extended family and a community of dear friends.
