Gary William Koehler, 63, of Southgate, passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2026, at his residence. He was a proud Army veteran and a Truck Driver with Dominoes, before retiring. Gary (Gary the Great) was also a loving husband, father, gramps, son, uncle "Bucky" and brother. He was a huge personality with a huge heart. He could always fill the room with laughter, was the life of the party, and ready for an adventure. He went out of the way for those he loved, each and every day. Gary loved the outdoors, dogs, and woodworking. He loved to create homemade gifts for his family and friends. He was a huge Xavier fan and enjoyed watching sports. Gary's humor, love for life, and carefree spirit will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his father, George William Koehler; mother, Janet Lee McGohan and step father, Skip McGohan, In-laws William Norwood Barker and Geneva Barker, Gary Allen, Larry Allen, and Lowell Allen. Gary is survived by his loving wife, Becky Koehler; daughters, Katlin (Kyle) Huff & Courtney (Josh Martin) Moffitt; sisters, Teri (Bob) Nienaber & Shawna (Glenn) McCowan; In-laws wendell and Judy Johnson, Kenneth and Brenda Litteral, Paul and Robin Barker, David and Patty Barker, Sherry Griffie, Lil Allen and Judy Allen. 3 grandchildren; Kaspen, Kyson & Kamry Kate Huff; several nieces & nephews and his besties, Sweet Pea & Sugar Bear.

Visitation will be held from 12-2 p.m., with a Memorial Service to follow at 2 p.m., Monday, February 2nd at Dobbling Funeral Home, Ft. Thomas.
