Gary LaCroix was born to Gary Sr and Romona LaCroix on December 14,1977. He was a 19 yr employee of Chevron and worked on the oil rig, Blindfaith. He loved spending time with his loving family, kids, and friends, loved to go camping as much as possible, he loved a good fishing trip and a cold beer. Gary was a native of Dulac, Louisiana and a long time resident of Baton Rouge Louisiana, where he lived with his wife and children. Gary was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, son, and friend. He was loved by so many and will be missed by even more. He is proceeded in death by his father, Gary Patrick LaCroix Sr.; grandparents, Justila Pellegrin( maternal) and Sam LaCroix and Hilda Ramagas ( paternal) and Patricia Boucher. He is survived by the love of his life, and mother of his children, Megan; his children, Brittney, BJ, Branden, Kholbie, Khamren, Khayden, his baby girl, Khloe and Emma Ruiz, whom he considered a daughter; mother, Romona LaCroix; sisters, Wendy Lodrigue and husband, Jimmie, Nicole Parfait and husband, Julian; sisters-in-law, Shannon Babin and husband, Damon and Shawn Williamson; mother and father-in-law, Karen and James Guidry; grandson, Manuel Ruiz; nieces and nephews, Harley, Kyra, Nicholas, Jaimie, Jadyn, Paighton, Skyla, Jimmy Jr., Davalynn Jones, Todd and Nicole Baker, Matthew, Morgan and Joseph Baker. He was the Godfather to Jaimie and Paighton Lodrigue, Caleb Ellender. Branden Lacroix, Kholbie Nethery, Khamren Nethery, Damon Babin, Ronald Boucher, Jimmie Lodrigue, Julian Parfait, Nicholas LaCroix, Joshua Mayer will serve as pallbearers. A service to celebrate Gary's life will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (15615 Jefferson Hwy Baton Rouge La, 70817). Visitation will be held 10am until prayer service beginning at 11am. A reception will follow at the family's residence (17845 Coffee Rd. Baton Rouge La, 70817).
